They are good quality shocks, and comfort at city speeds improved over stock, but at freeway speeds they still killed my back. (I weigh 190, not small). I even set the spring preload to minimum. I prefer a moderately stiff ride, but these are still very stiff. The stock shocks on the Roadster are worse, they will knock your teeth out if you ride over a walnut! PS: I traded this bike for a 2011 XR1200X, and I LOVE it!! The X model factory suspension is light years beyond the XL1200CX Roadster. dennis · Review provided by revzilla.comAll Reviews
